Our beloved Miranda passed away peacefully at home April 13, 2022, surrounded by her family. Adopted from PC Pound Puppies in 2010, she was the dog that hid in the back of her crate at the shelter. She didn't jump up or demand attention like the other dogs, she was timid and scared. Our family connected with her, and once she was home, she truly blossomed. Her sweet and caring personality came out, and she immediately bonded with everyone. For 12 years, she was everything: the cuddler, the playful one, and the one ready for a good walk. She could cheer you up when you were sad, lay with you for a good nap, or grab her favorite toy for a game of tug. She watched out and cared for the other animals, and helped each one settle at home when they were adopted. She kept her sweet personality up to the very end. Our hearts are broken, and home will not be the same without her. Miranda leaves behind her family: Jamon, Rachel, Jaxon, Katherine, Alivia, Kylen, and Pasleigh. Also left to grieve her absence are her 3 dog siblings: Duke, Rux, and Luna; and her 3 cat siblings: FC, Alani, and Bella. In her memory, please visit your local shelter or rescue. Donate to them, volunteer your time, or adopt if you are looking for a new member of your family. The best pets come from these places; some just need time to learn what it's like to be loved.
